CRUISER RIPPER

FULL SENDER

RESORT:
You are ready to make the transition from intermediate terrain to expert terrain. You can ski on a groomed black
run and an un-groomed blue run confidently, linking turns and staying in the fall line the whole way down. However, when you get onto the steeper terrain of a single black run or onto ungroomed snow it becomes more difficult to continually link your turns. As with the other groups it It is ok to be nervous or scared, but just bring a willingness to ski off-piste and a general level of decent physical fitness and an openness to ski coaching. You should be able to ski all-day for two days straight at this women's ski camp.
RESORT:
You can link ten consecutive turns on an ungroomed single black run. You generally feel more comfortable if the trees are wide and the snow is consistent but get less comfortable and confident in tighter trees, steeper terrain, moguls, inconsistent snow or a combination of these. You have not considered trying those weird entrances, funky moguls, or skiing purposefully through crud. This is not the first time you have skied powder and trees and you can ski all-day for two days straight.

RESORT:
You can make it down any double black on a challenging mountain, but have difficulty maintaining good technique throughout. You want tips to improve and finesse your skills in steeper terrain, tighter trees and the tools to negotiate rocks, inconsistent/bad snow, cornices, jumps, drops or more challenging/committing entrances.  You intentionally seek out more obscure lines, you have the fitness to ski all-day 2+ days in a row.

BACKCOUNTRY:
You have used/practiced using a beacon shovel probe, and ski toured before.  You are comfortable, confident and have the fitness to skin up hill for 1-2 hours, 2-3 days consecutively and you are self sufficient at transitioning in and out of ski tour mode. Once at the top you feel less confident with line choice, you are nervous about your abilities to ski down in control, you struggle linking turns in the fall line or navigating obstacles. Although you know powder skiing it's something you should like, you find it more exhausting that enjoyable.
BACKCOUNTRY:
You have used/practiced using a beacon shovel probe, and ski tour 5-8 days a season.  You are comfortable, confident and have the fitness to skin up hill for 2+ hours, 2-3 days consecutively and you transition in and out of ski tour mode with ease. Tighter trees, obstacles, tricky entrances and inconsistent snow concern you and affect your line choice on the descent but you are generally confident getting down. You enjoy skiing powder and find it equally awesome as it is tiring.

BACKCOUNTRY:
You are very acquainted with your beacon shovel probe, and ski tour 8+ days a season.  You are comfortable, confident and have the fitness to skin up hill for 3+ hours, 3+ days consecutively and you transition in and out of ski tour mode with ease. You seek out more challenging terrain/lines, tighter trees, obstacles, tricky entrances and drops. Inconsistent snow does not bother you but you would like to know how to ski all these features and conditions smoother and more efficiently. You love skiing powder and find it to be more awesome than it is tiring.
