About Us

Rippin' Chix was founded in 2001 by World Champion Extreme Freeskier Alison Gannett with a simple belief: when women are given the right coaching, encouragement, and environment, they're capable of far more than they think.
What began as a handful of women's ski camps has grown into a community of adventurous skiers who come together to build confidence, improve their skills, and challenge themselves in the mountains.
Today, that vision continues through our team of passionate coaches. From professional freeriders and ski racers to ACMG guides, ski mountaineers, avalanche educators, and coaches, we bring decades of experience across every corner of the mountain. More importantly, we love helping women discover what's possible on skis.
Our camps are designed for women who want to become stronger, more confident skiers—whether that means skiing powder for the first time, navigating trees and steeps with confidence, venturing into the backcountry, or simply feeling more relaxed and in control wherever the day takes them.
We believe great coaching is about more than improving technique. It's about understanding how to move through terrain, adapting to changing conditions, making good decisions, and building trust in yourself. The skills you develop on snow have a way of carrying into the rest of your life.
After more than two decades of coaching women, we've learned something.
Every camp starts with skiing. What you leave with is usually something more.
For some, it's the confidence to ski a line they never imagined possible. For others, it's a renewed belief in themselves, lifelong friendships, or simply the reminder that growth happens when we step outside our comfort zone.
Whatever brings you to Rippin' Chix, our goal is the same: to create a supportive, encouraging environment where women can challenge themselves, celebrate their progress, and share unforgettable days in the mountains.
Because skiing is about more than making great turns.
It's about discovering what you're capable of.
