What Were You Doing One Year Ago Today?

What Were You Doing One Year Ago Today?

Have you ever stopped to think about where you were—and how you were feeling—on March 29 of the past few years? It’s easy to forget the little moments in time, but for us, we don’t forget. Why? Because we’ve had camp on the same dates every year, and it gives us a unique opportunity to reflect. This particular one in March—Journeyman Lodge, our final camp of the season—is a great example.

March 29, 2023. March 29, 2024. March 29, 2025. Each year, we come together to coach, challenge, and cheer on amazing women on their skiing journeys through the backcountry. And each year, those dates become markers—not just for skiing progress, but for personal growth and the different seasons we experience in life.

As we look back, we can see the progress, growth, and transformation that’s taken place—both on the slopes and in our lives. It’s incredible to reflect on where we were last year and how much we’ve changed since then. Sure, there are times when we’re not at our best—but that’s part of the process. The key is that we keep showing up, year after year, ready to reflect, learn, and grow.

The beauty of these camps is that they allow us to pause and appreciate the journey. We might not always be where we want to be, but being able to look back and see how far we’ve come—that’s something special.

So while we may not remember every detail from those past March 29ths, we know one thing for sure: each year, we evolved. We got better, stronger, and more confident in our skiing and our lives—and we get to share all of that with you.

With another season upon us, we’re excited to step into a new season of adventure, coaching, and confidence-building with all of you, and we can’t wait to see where we all are when we look back next year.
